Seeing all these photos ...What a wonderful tribute. Seeing all these photos of John, especially the "pudgy" photos (which is how he was when we met) is so bittersweet. Wanna know how he lost his pudge? He lived in a high rise dorm at SIU and with the encouragement of his dorm-mates, he ran up and down the stairs of that high rise until he was but a portion of his former self. I loved him dearly, and when I get to missing him too much, I dream about him... and he's the same as ever, God love 'im.Bonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06234374181754927502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2504494626360061155.post-44071479665390189692009-05-05T23:33:00.000-07:002009-05-05T23:33:00.000-07:00I was just thinking of John... I met him at Wells ...I was just thinking of John... I met him at Wells Fargo, and was one of his banking customers. We became friends, and I was the photographer who took the headshot that is at the top of this blog. John was truly one of a kind. A wonderful, funny, talented, truly great guy. Thanks for this remembrance. Glad to know more about him. I recall the day he told me he had AIDS. He called from the hospital. I told him I'd visit. He said "You don't have to, but if you do, could you bring me some cheesecake. The food here is terrible." I saw him the next afternoon... and I think that was the last time I ever saw him, but I do miss him now.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16790285428212298961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2504494626360061155.post-72632879252083407392007-10-30T17:16:00.000-07:002007-10-30T17:16:00.000-07:00I still miss John, so thanks for the cool remembra...I still miss John, so thanks for the cool remembrance. He called me Bunny and got me a checking account when I really didn't qualify. Jayne Hamil gave me his photo and I talk to him on occasion. It's full of extremely attractive men wearing little or no clothes, as God intended.

Cheers.Tallulah Moreheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07416330735326405496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2504494626360061155.post-78901368104114173922007-10-24T07:58:00.000-07:002007-10-24T07:58:00.000-07:00What a sweet tribute.
